Six months and counting THIS TIME.  Original poster reports this is a long standing issue and needs attention.

Mr. Rust may want to get this taken care of NOW, before the coming November election.  

If he won't or can't do it then perhaps Mr. Estes will be representing Ward 3 and he can do it.

DESCRIPTION

There are several areas needing repair on southbound Prominence Point Parkway just south of Lantana Trail. These areas are repaired every year and it would be beneficial to find a more permanent solution.

  Although the area had been marked for some time, it had not yet been fixed. Also, there are several areas about 1/2 block south of the marked area that need repair.

 CITY OF CANTON 

MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION NOTICE 

The City of Canton will hold a Municipal General Election on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You will vote in City/ County Elections at your regular County Election Day precinct to fill Council Ward 1, Council Ward 2, and Council Ward 3 seats that expire on December 31, 2017. 

Those elected will serve a four-year term beginning January 1, 2018. This election will be conducted by the Cherokee County Elections and Registration Office. 

Qualified Candidates are as Follows:

Council Member, Ward 2 
Bill Grant (Incumbent) 
Susan C. Stanton 

Council Member, Ward 3

Cherokee County will hold a Special Election on November 7th for the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) renewal. 

The last day to register to vote in the November 7th election is Tuesday, October 10th. Visit My Voter Page at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov to check registration status, register to vote, find precinct information, view a sample ballot and much more. Android and Apple users can also download the "GA Votes" mobile app. 

Early Voting begins Monday, October 16th through Friday, October 27th during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Advance Voting begins on Monday, October 30th through Friday, November 3rd during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

All City and County Voters may vote in person during Early and Advance Voting which will be held at the Cherokee Elections & Registration Office.
